Meet Lara
I was born in the vibrant state of North Carolina, USA, but my career and curiosity have taken me far beyond American shores. Over the past 15 years, I’ve lived and worked across Australia, building a career in business development, marketing, media, and education. My journey has allowed me to collaborate with world-class brands, cultural institutions, and creative industries - from Disney Films to The Australian Ballet - while also mentoring and training professionals from all walks of life.
Holding an MBA in Innovation and International Business and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Media and Performing Arts, I bring a unique combination of corporate insight, creative communication, and global perspective to my coaching.
Today, through Interview by Design – with Lara, I help non-native English speakers communicate with confidence, clarity, and professionalism in job interviews. My coaching is informed by a deep understanding of how different industries work, what employers look for, and how to present yourself in a way that resonates across cultures.
